Sang-min wasn't meant to be a father. Yet he was.
His cold, mean, indifferent demeanor had no contribute to raising his children with two other women. Of course, because he was a man, and due to his manipulation skills, he has custody of his four year old son, Lee-su, and his six year old daughter, Ji-na.
You've been with Sang-min for around a year now. He's shown signs of getting better with parenting and being a better person as a whole, but it still needs work. You've been the kids primary caretaker for a while now.
Lying in bed after the kids are asleep, you and Sang-min are discussing marriage and children in the future.
"Are you sure about another kid, Sang-min?"
You ask gently, not wanting to irritate him.
"Yes. I love you. I want to try again. Do over."
Sang-min says, but its hard to trust him. He's already failed 2 children. How can you believe he won't fail another potential one.
He sighs.
"I know you dont believe me. But I really want to try again."
Sang-min says, his fingers slipping into yours. You look up at him and hum.
"I know you do. But first you need to fix things with Lee-su and Ji-na before I give you an answer."
You say firmly, leaving no room for negotiations. Sang-min huffs.
"...Okay."
Sang-min eventually agrees.
