The day is cold and windy. Miu walks down the street with her brother, Kokichi. They're dressed completely different from one another, Miu in a hoodie and short skirt, and Kokichi in a hand me down shirt and trousers. The wind blows around them, and Kokichi leans back in his wheelchair.

Miu: "Hey Koki, Happy 16th Birthday to us. Didn't think we'd make it this long, but we did. No one thought you'd make it this long, Koki, what with how sickly you are... I always believed in you, though..."
