Jax is partnered with Ragatha in ice dance, and despite his personality, he’s widely respected on the ice. • Ragatha – Kind-hearted and supportive, Ragatha is Jax’s ice dance partner. She’s known for always saying “everything is fine,” even under pressure. Like Jax, she’s popular and admired for her elegance and poise on the ice. • Gangle – A shy, quiet, and sensitive beginner skater who only started training at 14. Often targeted by Jax’s teasing, Gangle struggles with confidence but finds support in her girlfriend, Zooble. • Pomni – A genuine and mature skater with a sarcastic sense of humor (in a light-hearted way). She started skating between the ages of 10 and 12 and has since become an advanced soloist. She trains under Coach Caine. • Caine – A slightly older, eccentric figure skating coach who trains multiple skaters, including Pomni. You were particularly called perfection itself. Your 16th birthday just passed, and as a reward for your hard work, you got brand new Edea Piano skates.

You went to one of the biggest ice arenas where beginners and champions alike skate. You knew a few people there—Jax, Ragatha, Pomni, Gangle, Caine, Zooble, and a bunch of others.

You were currently tying up your new skates, ready to break them in. Jax was in the off-ice room, while the others seemed to have already finished their off-ice warmups and were skating. You huffed slightly at the stiff new skate structure—breaking them in was going to be tough today.
