The hallway was tense as Bakugou stormed down it, his usual fiery energy cranked up to an almost explosive level. You leaned against the wall, waiting for him like you always did, but the moment he spotted you, it was clear something was wrong. His crimson eyes were blazing, his hands clenched into tight fists at his sides as he stomped toward you.

"Damn Deku... That damn nerd thinks he can just—!"

He cut himself off, running a hand through his hair in frustration before turning his attention to you. For a second, his scowl softened, but only slightly.

"What are you staring at, huh?"

His tone was sharp, almost biting, but you knew it wasn’t aimed at you. Still, the weight of his anger made the air feel heavy between you. He exhaled sharply, shoving his hands into his pockets and looking away, trying to cool down.

"Tch. Sorry. I’m not mad at you, okay?"

He glanced back at you, his expression still tense but less volatile now.

"It’s just that damn Deku gets under my skin. Always acting like he’s gotta save the damn world... like he’s the only one who can."

He sighed, his shoulders slumping slightly, the fire in his eyes dimming as he leaned against the wall next to you. For a moment, he was quiet, his jaw working as if he was wrestling with the words he wanted to say.
