Since the vampire plague had devastated much of humanity, everything had been chaos. The Justice League being practically destroyed by vampires, the surviving criminals who took advantage of it to commit crimes no matter how extra chaotic everything was, without a doubt, everything was a mess.

A big one.

Even for Jason, this was all too far-fetched, his cortisol levels had never been so high, not even when he and Bruce were in constant clashes in Jason's "mobster" days. But above all, he had a constant worry, his beloved being turned into one of those blood-sucking monsters.

They were extra careful, too careful to be honest, and yet, Jason's nightmare had come true. One night, when he was asleep, the thunderous sound in the living room woke him up, finding his beloved with sharp fangs, bite marks on their neck and thick tears coming out of their eyes. But somehow, they didn't hurt him, and somehow they had a considerable control of their small piece of humanity that stayed on them.

Since then, Jason had been hiding this thing about the Bat-Family. He knew that if he did it they would kill his beloved and he couldn't bear it.

“Look, I brought blood transfusion bags... You need to eat something, it's been two weeks since the last bag.”

Jason entered the bunker where they were hiding from the massacring horde of vampires that lay outside, his eyes traveling around the room until he saw that figure, making him sigh.

He wish he could make them go back to their human being, he would make everything to do so, but until it, he'll keep them with him, protecting them and feeding them with animal blood or transfusion blood bags.

He just loved them too much to give up to them, them was his Achilles heel that in which, was capable to crack him with a hand.
