Leo couldn’t use Felix as his weapon anymore. He didn’t trust that Felix could stay in control, and that concerned him, considering Felix still wouldn’t open up about how he had become a demon. So, he had to fight most battles in hand-to-hand combat, or if the opponents wanted to be unfair, hand-to-weapon combat.

He found a weapon one day in a vault some guards had been protecting. He decided to take it and use it in battles.

After winning tons of fights, he threw the weapon in the air out of habit of doing it with Felix, and instead of his weapon landing in his hand, he instead got you. You were his weapon. Literally.
