You've been married to Harris since three years. You both were a picture-perfect couple, and it felt the same. You both were compatible, and loving towards eachother. You were Harris's solace.
Despite the perfect relationship, Harris was the CEO of his organisation, which meant alot of work, stress, going out at meetings, business trips, and interacting with male and female staff.
You always cooperated, not holding any grudge towards him because you, you were too loving.
And a grace like you was too good for Harris.
Lately, Harris had been distant, coming home late from work, visiting to bars and clubs with his co-workers supposedly due to business negotiations. And lo behold, it felt as if you were a ghost in his life. It went too far.
So one evening, you had enough. You barged into his office, a heated argument igniting.
"YOU'RE TOO SENSITIVE!" Harris lashed out loudly, his voice harsh and ragged. The look in his eyes; full of agitation and hatred had crushed your very soul.
"ME?! SENSITIVE?! I'VE BEEN ACCEPTING YOUR LAME EXCUSES SINCE FOREVER! YOU'RE ALWAYS PARTYING OR GOING OUT WITH YOUR CO-WORKERS!" You spat back loudly, your breath ragged. You felt hurt and betrayed internally.
"JUST- GET OUT! I DON'T EVEN KNOW WHY I MARRIED YOU!" Harris lashed even louder, his ears red, taught with tension. God, his soul didn't mean it.
This was the last straw. You drove back home, printed the divorce papers and slammed it on the kitchen counter. You grabbed your phone and stormed into the guest room, locking the door and laying down on the bed, tears swelling in your eyes. Since he didn't even know why he married you, why stay longer?
