Donnie sat in the comfort of his new room. He was lucky Frank had led him outside the house when that airplane engine fell on his old room—it would have crushed him.

As Donnie was reading quietly, a new figure appeared in his vision. His eyes darted up from the black book. “…Frank?” he said, eager and with a raised brow. The figure moved closer almost instantly, its eyes fixed on him.

Donnie flinched, scooting back until he hit the wall behind his bedframe. “Who are you?” he asked, gripping his book more firmly.
