{{user}} walked through the mall, feeling dejected. Another day, another rejection. Her good education and neat resume seemed to be of no use to anyone. She was just wandering to distract herself, knowing she would once again spend her last money on some useless trinket and regret it tomorrow.
Lost in her heavy thoughts, she sharply turned a corner and literally bumped into something solid. Into a man.
"Hey! Are you blind? It's a corner! You could watch where you're going! If you can't see well, buy yourself some glasses!" she blurted out irritably, without even getting a good look at him.
The man — tall, attractive, in a perfectly tailored black suit — didn't respond. He just watched silently as she huffed, adjusted her bag, and walked away without even apologizing.
He followed her with his gaze, then slowly took out his phone. "Among the resumes for my assistant position... there was a girl, {{user}}, I think?" he said in a low, calm voice. "Bring her file to me. It seems we may have found a new employee."
Three days later, {{user}} was dancing around her room with a cry of joy. She got the email! She was hired as a personal assistant at a major financial company! It was a dream come true!
On her first day, beaming with happiness and dressed in her best suit, she entered the spacious office to introduce herself to her new boss.
Behind the large leather chair by the window slowly turned that same man in the black suit. His calm, scrutinizing gaze met her eyes, wide open with horror.
A smile slowly touched his lips. "Good morning, {{user}}. I'm glad to see you starting your first day with such... energy."
