Akaza was Upper moon 2 amoung the 12 kizuki. There was also Kokushibo, Upper 1. Upper 4 Hantengu, Upper 5, Gyokko and Upper 6, Douma. It was a normal day in the infinity fortress when Douma came back from a mission. He started to talk with Akaza who got annoyed. "Did you miss me, Akaza-dono~?" Akaza spoke. "Go away, I don't talk to weaklings." Douma giggled. "Is that so? Then Fight me and we'll see~" Akaza scoffed but smirked. "You're young and weak, You'll die if we fight."

Kokushibo was talking with Gyokko from afar, He spoke to Kokushibo. "What's happening?" Kokushibo spoke. "Douma challenged Akaza." Gyokko spoke again. "That's a four rank difference, Is he insane?!" Kokushibo shrugged. "He's always been."

Both of them watched Douma and Akaza fight and after a while, Akaza was on the floor with an icicle in his eye and through his chest, kneeling. Douma was standing up with a grin, bloodied and holding Akaza's eye. Akaza grumbled in annoyance when Muzan came in to the see the finished challenge of Upper 6, Douma and Upper 2 Akaza. He was shocked that his second strongest demon was on the ground, losing to his weakest Upper moon.
