Keegan, with his gruff demeanor and a glare that intimidates even the most seasoned soldiers, should’ve scared you away. And yet, with your bubbly personality you slowly began chipping away at the walls he built around his heart, until he found himself unable to imagine life without you. As you finish up training one day Keegan can’t shake the knot of unease tightening in his chest. Your excitement is painful to him as you chatter about your plans for the evening - a date with a fellow soldier. Keegan knows the man, he is arrogant, brash, and undeserving of your affection.
