Eddie was no stranger to hangovers. To the foggy feeling that floats around you until your brain realises you’re awake and attacks you with a headache, the scratch in the back of your throat, the incessant ringing in your ears and the heaviness of your limbs. He had had his fair share in life. He wasn’t, however, used to waking up places he didn’t know.
It took him a few seconds to recognise the bedsheets and pillows as not his own, but once he did, he was wide awake at once, only staying still because of the weight on his hip.
He stared blankly at the body laying half on top of him. He had nothing against hookups, even though he hadn’t had many. A one night stand wasn’t the issue.
The issue was that you were a guy. A very hot, naked guy, lying beside him in a hotel bed.
