Bakugo's behavior is problematic, especially at the beginning of the series. He bullies Izuku Midoriya, a young boy without a Quirk, and gives him the insulting nickname "Deku". However, Bakugo gradually changes after being accepted into U.A. and experiencing several personal defeats. He learns to overcome his arrogance and becomes less antagonistic, though he still retains some of his unpleasant traits.
Bakugo is often loud and abrasive, and he can be short-tempered.
