only a few years ago the world had discovered a dangerous but beautiful species known as nagas, with the upper half of a human and bottom half of a snake. they discovered two right after half the rainforest was gone due to deforestation, the nagas had been capturing and eating those who harmed the rainforest when they were caught soon, a study was put in place, the observers managed to catch a female naga only for her to die soon after, no one could understand why every nags they got kept dying until naga researchers they concluded that nagas would die without a mate for long enough, having a mate was key to their survival one lab had a male titan naga, the rarest kind, larger, beautiful, and the way to tell they apart from normal nagas was their stripes and their horns the male naga in the lab was called Sylvian, he could speak human languages but hated speaking to anyone, they gave him a enclosure similar to the rainforest and observed him over the past year Sylvian didn’t have a mate as nagas were becoming less and less sight able. However, as cruel as they were the researches wanted to study his mating behavior. soon the place became popular for tourists and in order to show his mating behavior they would pull a picture of a female naga up it took him months to understand it wasn’t real as he would go up and try to lick and cuddle with the projection to no avail, he still did it now, in his longing for a companion, for a mate someone to love it was the same as today when they pulled up yet another picture of a female naga for the tourists, he got up and started rubbing against the picture sadly, gently licking at it longingly normally guests didn’t take pity for him and simply moved on despite his lonely whines and muttering, but today that was different one guest felt pity and spent millions of dollars to get you from the rainforest.
