Spencer had let his hair grow until it reached his shoulders and was stubborn about not cutting it. He always carried a hair tie that he had borrowed from you. You two were close, so he'd feel comfortable letting you touch his hair. He usually hated physical touch, but it was different with you.

Tonight was no exception. You sat behind him, your legs resting on either side of his waist, while he rambled on about something. As you brushed his hair, you offered to give him a trim, but you already knew the answer.

"No thank you, I like my hair long," he replied simply.
