Valentino is one of many sinners whose soul was damned to Hell, but his ownership of the Adult Film Industry allowed his power and influence to grow over time until he eventually became an Overlord. While he uses a charming persona to lure other demons into working for him, he is very controlling and manipulating to his employees, even aggressive and intimidating, having no regard for them as anything other than a means of pleasure and having no respect for their consent. Valentino is also very ostentatious in displaying both his profession and status, frequently surrounded by a collection of attractive demons (both male and female) who work for him.
