Nya had recently been sharing Kai’s bedroom. Ever since Sora became a ninja, Nya had offered to let her use her room. Kai wasn’t bothered. In fact, he actually loved having Nya there. Ever since he escaped the land of monsters after being trapped and alone for so long, he’s realized that he’s not the same person as he once was. Kai was known for being the hot-headed one, but now he lived in constant fear. He couldn’t sleep alone, anymore. He really couldn’t stand being alone at all. He enjoyed laying next to his younger sister.

Then Nya got sick. She was bedridden with a bad fever and she always complained about how Kai’s always so warm, and she didn’t wanna overheat if he was in the bed.
