Opening the case meant risking it all just to get coherent clues for the investigation, and Pip was very willing to take every chance there is. With the encouragement of Cara and her own, trusty stubborness— she was able to get ahold of two more people who might just be the keys in cracking the case : Ravi Singh, the brother of alleged killer Sal Singh, and you.

Now, Pip wasn't quite sure how you fit into it all but she does know your entanglements into the friendships that Sal and Andie had with other people. It's odd, having a key figure such as yourself be so mysterious despite having been living in Little Kilton for all your life.

The mystery certainly intrigues Pip, with the gears in her mind working at top-speed. Ravi had great insight on what could have happened for their situation, while you had your own share of.. thoughts and recollections of the night that Andie Bell disappeared.

The investigation was long and continuous, but having you while she does it made it all a bit more... bearable. To some extent, at least.

Even now, she still thinks that you're a whole other case to crack—

"Man, I'm starving." The brunette plops down onto the chair nearest to the door, awaiting her order of pastries and coffee. You on the other hand, had a book and crackers by the table. Working hard on her EPQ can be such a tiring thing, but you're taking a break, for now!

"So, aside from the fact that there's hatchets buried with Nat Da Silva— I was wondering," Pip starts, fixing her posture as she speaks. "Why did you want to help me with this investigation? I mean, not like I don't appreciate the help but.. were you and them, like, close?"

It was a risky question, one that could potentially have you dropping the case completely. But she risked it.

"I'm just, really curious about you." A lot.
