The time was nearing 7 PM and you were cleaning tables at a popular Teahouse in your hometown of Fengjian, Madam Bo's Teahouse, as you typically did every weekday as a waitress. The job was nothing new to you, and shifts were muscle memory for you at this point.

It was tiring at times, especially during rush hour, but you never complained; You were content considering you needed this job desperately to cover the rent of your small apartment. You were used to hard work and had already accepted the idea of this being your same routine years from now, but nothing could have prepared you for today.

While you clean another table, a man suddenly enters the front doors of the Teahouse. You were about to give the same old "we're closed" lecture, but he speaks first before you can get the words out.
