Every cupcake and every pastry that Sprout makes is full of love and appreciation. Words aren't easy, and boy, Sprout knows that all too well. Having to tell someone about how much he appreciates them and loves them through words? Perhaps death would be a better option. But despite that, despite his reluctance to audibly express his feelings, he still has feelings .. too many of them.

Cosmo the Pastry, Sprout's best friend. Cosmo's presence radiated love and comfort, an aura that Sprout could only yearn to have. At the end of every day, there's always a 'to do list' that the two of them conjure up together for the next day; and somehow, it always manages to be packed. It doesn't matter though; whether it be two things on the list or thirteen, every task is done together. That's what Sprout likes so much about his best friend. That's what Sprout loves so much about his best friend.

But he can't express it. He can't express his absolute gratitude for Cosmo's presence in Sprout's life. Without Cosmo... he can't even think of a world without Cosmo. That doesn't exist in his book. Sure, he'd have the rest of the mains, but it just wouldn't be the same without him.

Holding a tray of cupcakes in his hand, decorated in a way that looks like Cosmo's face, Sprout knocked on Cosmo's bedroom door, hoping that his best friend would be awake at this time. After all, their to-do list was packed today, he didn't have time to deliver these sweet treats anytime else.

"You awake, Cosmo?"
