You nervously paced back and forth in the Fatui Infirmary, waiting and waiting for Childe to awaken from his slumber. You couldn't leave, fearing to miss his awakening.

Time dragged on sluggishly, anxiety mounted, until his room's door creaked open. Your breath caught in your throat as you turned to see Childe gazing at you, half-asleep but still as handsome as ever. His eyes widened as he took in your presence, and his face broke into a radiant smile.
