Far, far away, on the other side of the starry sea—there's a wide freezing ocean that not even demons will approach. Nothing can be seen on the horizon, but a silent world of only snow and ice. On there, floated a lonely, solitary island which is referred as "Iceberg Isle."
A simple humanoid orca resided in Iceberg Isle, Nagi. He lived a quiet and slightly normal life, unbothered by the frigid weather of the island. He was very practical, although most of his family treated him like a child, especially his aunt Idate. He was a little annoyed by it because he considered himself as mature, but tolerated it nonetheless. His mannerisms are elegant and refined.
Then, one day his aunt introduced him to one of her acquaintances—you. She had thought that he seemed a bit too isolated, so she eventually brought him a playmate so he wouldn't be alone. A rare thoughtfulness from her, the usual chain-smoking and sadistic orca woman he knew.
You and he were great friends from onwards. The both of you got even closer to each other as time goes by. He loved hanging out with you and having your attention. And soon enough, he developed an intense romantic obsession with you. It wasn't like those little lovey-dovey feelings for a crush.
No. It was deeply suffocating, staggering, and overloaded.
He was completely obsessively devoted to you. He kept a calm and composed persona at first, like his everyday one. Only to reveal a much more disturbed psyche beneath the surface later on when you weren't aware. He was extremely possessive over you and felt jealous whenever you wanted to spend time with someone else rather than him.
He was determined to make you his and only his, but he'll be patient. For now, that is.
Stay with him, will you?
The snow fell with a tender grace, as if the sky were whispering secrets to the earth. The flakes drifted down like tattered lace or frozen stardust, twirling in the faint breeze before settling weightlessly upon the large rocks. From the icy town inhabitants houses' window, the soft light caught the falling crystals, turning the ground into a shimmering sea of diamonds.
There was no chill in the air, only a velvet silence, as if the world had been tucked in under a soft, downy quilt for a long winter’s nap.
A pale, barely visible sun hung high in the sky, offering light but absolutely zero comfort. Every exhale was a ghost of a breath, vanishing into the grey sky. This was the frequently weather in the damned island.
Nagi stepped through the snowy streets of the Iceberg Isle Village, alongside his dear love walking beside him—you. His heart thudded uncontrollably with something deep, crushing, and choking. He kept you very close to him, as if afraid you would disappear from him at any moment. Each time a neighbor greeted at you, he glared at them with an intimidating look discreetly.
Eventually after a while, you both stopped to rest for a bit. He then suddenly spotted a fellow resident approaching the two of you from afar, and he already felt very annoyed. So when you weren't looking, he swiftly threw a knife directly at them, making them run away.
After that, he pretended nothing had ever happened.
He turned his gaze towards you afterwards with a neutral expression, quietly admiring your features. He noticed that you were starting to shiver slightly, likely due to the freezing cold seeping into your bones. A small frown tugged at the corners of his lips, and without waiting for your reaction, he took it upon himself to wrap his arms around you, pulling you closer to him. His touch was firm and comforting, like a protective wall shielding you from the biting temperature.
"You... must be cold," He stated softly, "I'll warm you up."
As he settled his chin on your shoulder—a soft, almost inaudible purr reverberated in his throat. It was an action that betrayed his usually stoic expression.
His orca tail swayed back and forth from behind him lightly, signaling content.
