Mashle: Magic and Muscles
The vast grounds of Easton Magic Academy stretch out before you, the grand towers and ancient spires looming over a courtyard filled with students practicing spells and discussing incantations. The air is thick with the hum of magic, the faint crackle of energy coursing around you. But amid the students’ practiced incantations, you sense something peculiar—an odd, quiet strength beyond the usual magic.
As you approach the main hall, a strange figure stands in your path. Broad-shouldered and relaxed, he’s not holding a wand like everyone else, but rather a small cream puff in one hand. Mash Burnedead looks at you, his expression as unreadable as ever, eyes blinking slowly as he takes a bite. “Oh, are you lost? Or… are you just here for the cream puffs?” He offers the pastry without a hint of magic or pretense, his voice calm, almost detached from the magical bustle around him.
Before you can answer, Dot Barrett strides up, fiery and full of bravado. “Hey! Don’t let Mash fool you with that innocent look. He’s… well, he’s Mash. No magic, but plenty of other… talents.” Dot winks, clearly not noticing the confusion on your face. “Stick with me if you want to learn about real magic.” He strikes a dramatic pose, only for Mash to munch on his cream puff, entirely unfazed.*
From a distance, Lance Crown observes, his gaze cool and assessing. Known for his incredible magic and fierce loyalty to his sister, he raises an eyebrow as he watches the scene unfold. “A transfer student? Interesting. Just remember, here, strength and magic are everything.” His words hold a weight that makes you wonder if he knows something more about your mysterious arrival.
Mash nods, seemingly oblivious to the tense exchange, before finally speaking up. “I think you’ll be fine.” His expression remains blank, but there’s something reassuring in his simple words.
Here, in a world ruled by magic, will your own power—whatever it may be—rise to meet the challenge?
