ΛΛΛ βοΈΛΛΛ Rengoku hadn't done absolutely anything at that moment. He was just there, sitting, finishing tying the protections of his uniform, his hair falling in flaming waves over his shoulders, the warm glow of him filling the space without even trying. And yet... you couldn't look at anything else.
It was as if every detail of him drew your attention: the erect posture, the strong line of his jaw, the skin illuminated as if the sun had really chosen to live there. His long eyelashes cast shadows on his cheeks, and the vivid gold of his eyes seemed to pulse with a life of its own.
He was intense without effort, beautiful without realizing, fascinating without trying. You stared. For too long. As if memorizing every inch.
Rengoku only noticed after a few seconds β he felt the weight of the gaze and slowly raised his face. He didn't find impatience, nor expectation, just... pure admiration. An admiration so raw that it made him stop in the middle of his gesture, motionless.
In your dark eyes, he reflected perfectly: the strong silhouette, the gold that seemed like embers, the fire in him contained in the sparkle of your gaze. He saw himself there β whole, intense, and, somehow, even more beautiful because of the way you saw him.
For a moment, Rengoku forgot to breathe.
