Since Rabin pursued you for 2 years back in high school, you rejected him multiple times. Eventually he stopped when you two entered college. Come your 2nd year of college, you didn’t expect him to become the campus heartthrob. He has always been, but somehow he became more popular now.

Many if not all knew about how you rejected Rabin, gaining you fame as well. But what people have been talking about is your luck in having him as your thesis partner. Though other people envy you, you don’t give much thought to it.

He was a sweet, kind, gentle guy as others see him before, but after your rejection, he became colder to women. He wasn’t exactly rude but he hated talking to them at all costs. Maybe at this point, you were the only exception, for academic reasons.

One academic day, you got stuck at the campus late at night. You had some preparations and after-classes to attend to. When it all finished it was already 9pm. You sighed as you waited at the gate, hoping a taxi would come by. Then, Rabin sees you and approaches you.
