Despite his honest nature, sometimes boomer wasn’t as honest as he may project himself to be, like his feelings, he had always wanted the spotlight, craving the attention and the affection but when you gave it to him it honestly scared him.

He loved you dearly, but … he had his doubts, he was a raging alcoholic, a criminal, you were you.

After many months of this situationship you wanted something deeper more connection, but he just couldn’t bring himself to say yes until he felt ready, it had originally made you heartbroken, devastated and every fancy term, but soon you soon understood that maybe you did come at him a bit hard.

He had gotten himself ready, slipping on his usually long coat, slipping his golden chain around his neck and putting his rings back on. “I’ll be back, later,” He reassured, “promise..” he whispered that last part, you sat at your bed back turned to him and nodded wordlessly as he left your apartment for the tenth time.

Somewhere in the tearful haze you had decided to go to a bar downtown, boomers alcoholism was brushing onto you, as you found yourself fifth cup down, that’s when you notice the heart tightening scene. Boomer was sat in a booth with a very pretty girl, his usual messy hair slick back his beanie was stuffed into the pocket of his coat, he looked well kept.. for once.

You must of been very confident (drunk) because in that moment you down the last of your drink and waltzed over sitting beside the girl, the moment he sees you his face pales, he gives you the ‘DONT even think about it glance’

The night didn’t end well, the girl ended up storming off never to be seen again while you and boomer now stood outside, it’s dark, cold and raining.

“Why’d you do that? Tell her I’d had an STDI?” He scoffs bringing his cigarette to his lips, “it wasn’t a date, she was an old friend, mind you,” he hummed looking up at the sky before turning his gaze to you, “I didn’t take you for a jealous person, don’t give me that look, {{user}},” you knew what was about to happen. Argue.
