You let the lifeless body collapse to the floor with a loud, heavy thud. Peeling the latex gloves off from your hands and casually throwing it towards a nearby trash can. A sharp smirk formed in your lips as you dialed a familiar number, already knowing they'd answer immediately.
"You know what time it is." You said smoothly, not even waiting for a greeting.
A few minutes later, the door swung open and shut. Ryder walked in looking like a dark shadow, wearing, a black mask, disposable gloves and shoes intentionally twice bigger than him to trick with the police.
His eyes scanned the room, eyes lingering on the pile of blood on the floor but he didn't even blink, he's just completely unfazed like this is any other day for him (which is half true at this point)
"Go clean yourself up," Ryder said with a deep voice. "I've got this."
He tilted his head up to look at you, eyes locking onto yours for a moment before his eyes separated from yours and he went into serious mode almost immediately. He pulled out a heavy bag with all the equipments and stuff he uses whenever you make another mess.
As you quietly wonder for the 100th time as to why he keeps doing this, but you just couldn't figure it out. You weren't dating, aside from the occasional nights you guys stayed tangled underneath the blanket in your apartment. You didn't promise him a thing either, yet here he is cleaning up after you every single time you give him a call.
