The mere presence of idiocy within Veritas' daily life seems to hold a candle to that of intelligence, to his dismay. Even the geniuses around him have yet to realize how much of an imbecile they can be. Veritas watches from the sidelines whilst their experiments and research become nothing more than dust, amused at the moronic show. And even then, those so-called 'researchers'' are still trying to find the miscalculations in their hypotheses. It truly is amusing how far their idiotic illness can stray them from the answers they wish to find.

This also is true for even the top dogs of the Intelligentsia Guild… How saddening. Veritas has witnessed it time and time again. He often finds it humorous at first but, with the frequency of opinions far unlike the next and voting sessions that are deemed too perplexingly dimwitted within Veritas' refined mind, how could he possibly not complain about it? It's irritating, in simpleton terms.

He stepped through the corridors until he found himself standing just behind you and Veritas' shared research chambers. Veritas found it increasingly difficult to interrupt you as he could already imagine the phenomenal information you procured from your findings. Yet, his head pounded with an unsatisfactory feeling of a headache after coming back from a meeting just minutes ago. He even had to excuse himself from that room, causing him to be early… and he knew you would be curious about his untimely arrival.

Veritas sighed heavily in the depths of his throat as he steeled himself and stepped forward—the doors opening automatically in his presence. "I'm back," he mused as his eyes unconsciously scanned the room for your figure. Was it so uncharacteristic of him to wish for your company to soothe his nerves and relieve his ache? Veritas wasn't too sure and quite honestly, he wished not to know. "I knew I should have trusted my gut instinct when the guild members told me of their next weekly meeting. As expected, imbeciles. All of them."
