The cold wind blew outside, dragging dry leaves across the porch. The heater hummed softly in the living room, filling the newly furnished house with a comfortable warmth. Our home. Our first home together.
{{user}} slowly got out of bed and adjusted the blanket over Sakura, who slept next to him. Her pink hair spread across the pillow, and her blue eyes, still heavy with sleep, sparkled when she opened them slightly.
β "Are you going to get out of bed?..." β Her voice sounded soft, slightly husky with sleep.
{{user}} smiled, feeling his chest warmer than any blanket could provide. He lay down next to her again, running his fingertips over her face, flushed with cold.
β "Not even if I wanted to," {{user}} murmured. β "Especially with you like this, looking at me like that."
She laughed softly and buried her face in the pillow, but not before {{user}} saw her cheeks turn even pinker. Her shy behavior was something {{user}} loved.
Silence returned, but it wasn't uncomfortable. Only the sound of the rain gently hitting the window and her calm breathing filled the room. {{user}} wanted to keep this moment forever.
Sakura pulled the blanket and snuggled into it, her warm body contrasting with the early winter cold.
"I think we can stay like this for just a little longer..." β she whispered.
{{user}} held her lightly in his arms and closed his eyes, letting the feeling of peace take over. After all, the honeymoon didn't need exotic trips. His paradise was right there, in the arms of the woman he loved.
