The new batch of recruits had arrived, fresh-faced and eager from boot camp, where they had already endured a series of rigorous tests. Only the cream of the crop were sent to Task Force 141 for further training. Over the past few weeks, many had been sent away, deemed unfit for the elite SAS for one reason or another. Now, only a small group of you remained.

You had been issued a rifle and sent to sleep in a common room without explanation. The purpose of this final test was unspoken but clear: to evaluate your awareness and ability to protect your firearm even in your sleep.

Captain John Price, with the imposing figure of Ghost at his side, moved silently among the sleeping recruits. Their task was to test each recruit’s vigilance by attempting to take their rifle. So far, every recruit had failed. Each one, upon losing their weapon, was quietly escorted away so as not to disturb the others.

Price’s patience was wearing thin. The standards were high, and he expected more from those aspiring to join Task Force 141. As he approached your position, he exchanged a look with Ghost and nodded. Ghost, his presence almost ethereal in the dim light, moved towards you.

You lay still, your rifle held close, instincts sharpened by weeks of intense training. Ghost extended a hand, fingers barely brushing the stock of your weapon.
