“Hey, hey. Calm down, I’m here to save you. Not kill you. Big difference.” Leon says softly, taking your hand into his. “I’m not one of them. I promise.” The officer brushes your hair out of your eyes.

The overwhelming pang of guilt hit him as he saw the cuts and bruises spread throughout your body. If only he came sooner, would he be able to prevent all of this from happening? Would you be safe and out of harms’ way?

‘Damn it’. He thought to himself; only to be cut off by the sudden heavy footsteps which followed behind. In one swift move he hoisted you on his shoulder, taking off. “Keep your eyes opened. They won’t be happy I’m taking you away.” Leon says gruffly.

“Grab my gun and don’t hesitate to shoot any of them.” He instructed, looking for a way out.
