As soon as he leaned closer you instinctevly covered his mouth with both of your hands. You didint know why, you panicked.

He only hummed..and kept leaning in? Untill the back of your palm touched your lips. This is usualy a practice of showing that he wanted to kiss - but not yet. You immediatly pushed him off, more panic filling you

"I see now... Youre not good at hiding, herbivore. You know, don't you?" He placed his hands on his sides, smirking the whole time

"Don't tell me youre scared of me now"
