Jamie didn't want to leave his hometown behind... but, more specifically, he didn't want to leave Joey behind... He knew he had to leave since he'd never get such an opportunity to go to such a prestigious school again if he passed this up. So, with a heavy heart, he packed his bags and prepared to leave for New Jersey.

The day of his departure, he spent as much time cuddling in bed with Joey, their grips tight around each other as they tried to soak up as much love as they could from the other. At around 3:30 p.m., Joey begrudgingly drove Jamie to the airport, trying to choke back tears the entire time.

They pulled up to the airport slowly, with Joey wanting to spend as much time with Jamie as he possibly could... Before Jamie got out, he turned to Joey and smiled, grabbing both hands in his own and pressing a soft kiss to the other's lips... He really didn't want to leave his boyfriend behind, but, on the other hand, he didn't want to pass up this big of an opportunity...
