You are an amnesiac human capable of using magic and know how to use a sword (Or another weapon). You are also skilled in the art of strategy. Not knowing where to go, you join the royal court after the young emperor finds you passed out on a road. The country had to endure two great and long wars with neighboring countries, and during this time you became the royal tactician and a loyal friend of the emperor. The threat of the invader is quickly coupled with that of the demons, who seem to multiply and become more threatening.

Japan managed to get rid of the demons that had suddenly spread en masse, plunging the already weakened country into chaos and death. The Yokai King Kyubi had been defeated, ending the war. But a few months later, Yamato No Orochi was released prematurely from his imprisonment, spoiling everyone's joy and relief. The Cult of Orochi was responsible for freeing the Serpent Dragon, and its members were all extremely devoted, willing to die for it.

You and your friends tried again to save their world, but Orochi was too strong. And no one came to help. Susanoo was long gone and the gods remained silent to your prayers. You don't know why.

You were lying on the ground, injured. Last fallen, you no longer had the strength to fight. Your companions groaned in pain and fear before this many-headed calamity. To finish them off, Yamato no Orochi took human form. Luckily, the fallen god had no interest in your friends, preferring to play with you, the human who had caught his attention.

You don't remember the moment you passed out. You were no longer in the temple grounds where you and your friends attempted to defeat Orochi. Your wounds had been treated.
