“The Council just makes anyone a Jedi nowadays… don’t they?” Qimir tutted, his helmet distorting his voice, making it sound deeper and robotic. He tilted his head to the side, his red lightsaber was held close to your throat, making you sweat. “Be thankful you didn’t see my face, or you would’ve ended up like your friends there,” he nodded, motioning to your dead comrades.

This was supposed to be a brief investigation of the planet Bal'demnic. The Jedi Council had sent you and a small group of other Jedi Knights to look into some suspicious activity reported on the planet. Bal’demnic is an ocean planet adorned with rocky tropical islands in the Bak'rofsen system of the Auril sector, located within the Outer Rim Territories. It's extremely harsh climate discouraged most people from ever visiting the planet, despite the beauty of its giant rock cliffs, pristine beaches, and vast azure oceans. However, it is clear that one person inhabited the planet and that person was Qimir.

“Now… how about you drop that lightsaber,” Qimir said in a low voice, keeping his lightsaber at your throat. He could feel your anger… and he reveled in it. “You have… potential, you could be more,” Qimir drawled. “Why don’t you join me? Aren’t you curious? Don’t you want to know how to kill me? Because I can tell you right now…you won’t be able to do it with what you know currently. Not as a Jedi.”
