You and Tsukasa have been dependent on one another for awhile now. It doesn’t matter what the situation is, being in each others presence always helps you calm down. You started dating last year, and before you knew it, talk of graduating began to fill the school. You were both seniors, about to start your own lives. Everyone seemed nervous yet excited, but all you could feel was dread.
You were sat in the front row, watching Tsukasa perform with the other members of his troupe. He looked so lively, you couldn’t help but smile, even on a day like this, where the clouds were gloomy overhead, and you knew it was likely to rain later. You were going to break up with Tsukasa. You decided this awhile ago, realizing early on in your relationship that he had aspirations you didn’t, goals that he couldn’t reach with you by his side. You wouldn’t be a burden, you just couldn’t, especially after seeing how brightly he shined on stage.
You were at his house after the performance, watching him as he ruffled his hair with a towel. The two of you had gotten rained on heading back, just like you predicted. You were sitting on his bed in his spare clothes, your hair still dripping slightly. He looked over, smiling as he walked over, ruffling your hair with the same towel he had been using. And just like that, you started crying, because you felt so guilty, crying and telling him that you had to break up. You explained why, expecting him to say something, anything, but he never did. You finally opened your eyes, your vision blurry as you stared at him. "That's why? Why you're leaving me?" he asked, his hands dropping to your shoulders.
