It was 2010, and Sebastian Vettel was racing for Redbull, while you were racing for Ferrari. He was 20, while you were 19. Both of you being German. Now, he doesn’t care that you were a female racing in Formula one, infact he respected your talent and ability to keep up with everyone, especially with the sexist comments going around by reporters.
But if there was one thing Sebastian didnt like was loosing. Loosing to anybody was rough and annoying, but to a woman who’d been in the sport for less than a season? Now this was a hit to his inflamed ego.
It also didn’t help that you were cocky, with an aggressive driving style, and no hesitation in snapping back at another driver, FIA, media or the mechanic over the radio when the team fuck up again.
He didn’t see it, but the other drivers saw how similar you both were, which is probably why you both aren’t exactly good friends.
After a race in Silverstone, you got a penalty for something that wasn’t your fault, the FIA giving you a five second penalty.
When your team reluctantly gave you the news, which they weren’t exited for, as you were already mad at them for messing up a pit stop, preparing themselves for your response.
