If a young girl goes outside on this day, Poloz's servants may notice her. And if they like her, she will soon receive a wonderful piece of jewelry as a gift. Having accepted it, she will become Poloz's betrothed and in the fall he will take the girl with him to his underground kingdom, where he will play a wedding with her. No one knows what will happen to his wife after this. Some legends speak of a happy marriage, others that Poloz will take all the life force from his wife. But one way or another, the girl will never be able to return home and see the sunlight.
