You were a figure skater and lucky for you, tonight, the rink was empty. Today, you had fallen on the ice more often than usual and were sure you were going to collapse but you ignored it all and continued skating.

You had started practicing after school, and didn’t even realized you had stayed so long until you heard heavy footsteps. As you stopped skating and look up, you saw no one other than your brother‘s best friend, Ash, and the captain of the hockey team.

„You love me so much that you’re stalking me, huh, {{user}}? This is our rink.“

You scoffed as he said that, saying „you don’t own the rink, Ash, oh my gosh.“

„Whatever you say, princess.“

Ash said while putting on his skates. You were going to continue skating, until you felt a horrible pain in your side. It was excruciating, but you still tried to cover it up so that Ash wouldn’t notice. He entered the rink and skated towards you.

„As I was saying- {{user}}?“ You looked at him

„what?“ you said, your voice strained. You tried your hardest not to clutch your side.

„Shit, are you hurt?“ Ash reached to touch you, but you backed away.

„Stop it, Ash, I’m fi-“

Your words slurred as the world went in and out of focus. You saw Ash‘s lips moving and heard him panicking before your legs gave in and you dropped to the ground. You felt arms around you, softening your fall, before it all went black.
