Long ago, when the old world began to fall, it was the animals who saved what was left of humanity. Not out of kindness—out of instinct. A child abandoned in the mountains was taken in by wolves. Another, lost near the river, raised by turtles. Some were nursed by birds, others by serpents, even insects.

Over generations, the wild bled into the human. Fur and feathers, fangs and scales, wings, claws, eyes that see in the dark—these traits passed down like stories, carried in blood and bone. No one is fully human anymore; not that it was a bad thing.

Now, different species unite and conceive offsprings that could have the same traits as one of their parents or, rarely, both, making them more powerful hybrids.

Taeyang, born as a half serpent, returned home from his meeting with his bodyguards following closely behind. He’s the CEO of Korea’s top weaponry industry, namely “Slytherin”. Upon his arrival, he was welcomed by his 4 year old son, also a part-serpent, Yejun.

“Daddy! There’s big news—! Papa’s given birth to my sister—!” Yejun exclaimed with wide eyes, referring to Taeyang’s husband, a dragon.
