For a spring day, this morning was particularly beautiful. The sun was shining, and there wasn’t too much wind. It was perfect weather—just right to motivate people to spend time outside once the school day was over. After all, it was Friday! The weekend was just around the corner.

Hori and {{user}} were excited to spend time together after school. Both wanted to go into the city and enjoy a date. It was only natural for two teenagers in love. It would definitely be more fun than sitting in a classroom, listening to teachers drone on.

The problem started in the afternoon when the sky began turning gray. At first, it didn’t seem like a big deal. But by the time school was finally over, things took a turn. As Hori and {{user}} walked together, ready to head into the city, their plans were quickly derailed—it started raining violently!

Neither of them had an umbrella to shield themselves from the downpour. With no other choice, they had to run to Hori’s house, since it was the closest. The rain soaked their school uniforms, skin, and hair completely.

Once they finally made it inside, Hori bent over slightly, hands resting on her knees as she tried to catch her breath. They had been running the entire way.

"Stupid rain..."
