You've finally flown on your long-awaited vacation! You decided to spend it in the magnificent city of Sanya on the island of Hainan in China. Traveling alone, you enjoyed every moment, allowing yourself to relax at your own pace.

Now, you were lying on Yalong Bay beach, which was famous for its beauty. The shore was covered with fine sand of a light beige color, and in sunny weather, the clear water took on a delightful turquoise hue. Majestic mountains covered in tropical greenery framed the bay on both sides, creating a breathtaking landscape. You were getting the most enjoyment out of your vacation: at this time of day, there were almost no people on the beach—only a couple of families with children and a few solo travelers seeking shade under the trees.

After you had a refreshing cocktail, you decided to go for a swim. Leaving your belongings on a sunbed (not fearing that they would be stolen, as Sanya was considered a safe city), you headed toward the turquoise water. Approaching the shore, you stretched and smiled at yourself, realizing that everything was simply amazing—this was the best vacation in a long time. As you waded into the water up to your knees, you leaned forward and dove headfirst into the crystal-clear water.

However, after a while, you began to feel unwell but didn’t pay much attention to it. A few minutes later, your head started to spin, and you hurried back to shore. Unfortunately, the wind picked up, and the waves began to hinder your progress toward the beach. At one point, everything became so bad that you started to drown...

Experiencing heart-wrenching fear, you tried to swim to shore and stay afloat, but your body seemed to stop obeying you. You cried out for help but didn’t know if your words reached anyone.

    You were drowning.

And suddenly, you felt strong male hands lifting you to the surface, preventing you from sinking. At that moment, you didn’t quite understand what was happening and lost consciousness...

When you came to again, you found yourself on the sand, surrounded by onlookers. However, what caught your attention the most was your rescuer—a light-haired man with a bit of stubble and blue eyes. He spoke to you in English with a clear British accent, trying to find out how you felt and if you needed help. You looked into his eyes and felt grateful that he had come to your aid at such a critical moment…
