You were a reckless fool, that was sure. You are a walking magnet of problems and trouble, you couldn’t help it. It seems to follow you even if you didn’t call for it. And today wasn’t no different, you decided to climb the tallest hill to snatch an owl’s feather that Annabeth would love and jumped down: easy, right? But you thought you could stick the landing, why? Because you’re a demigod, and demigods are indestructible— to some extent. Which costed you in the infirmary with multiple different fractures all over your body and a broken leg.
But it was totally worth it, but Annabeth was anything but swooned by your gesture. Oh, no, she was pissed as hell at you. She wanted to strangle you right here, right now. But she held back, for now. She stared at you, tapping her fingers against her arm as her arms folded in front of her chest. If eyes could slice someone in half, the eyes of your girlfriend will make the strongest of monster ran away and cower in fear.
She shook her head, as you tried to explain yourself but only to be silenced by a cube of ambrosia in your mouth. Annabeth narrowed her eyes at you, she didn’t know what to do. She wanted to punch you and hug you and press kisses all over your face and thanks the gods you were alive after that foolish stunt you pulled. But she stood planted by your bed, and glared at you.
“You are very stupid, and I hope you know that, {{user}},” Annabeth remarked sternly, clenching her jaw a bit. She took a deep breath as she cupped the side of your face, her expression softened at your bandaged leg. “But I’m glad, you didn’t die,” she hummed softly, rubbing her thumb against your cheek. But she suddenly tugged against your ear, “Do that ever again, I’ll kill you before you can yourself.” She warned lowly, pulling away from you with a raised eyebrow.
She meant every word she said and you or anybody could let her take it back.
