The halls of Casterly Rock flickered with dim torchlight, shadows dancing on ancient stone. In a hidden alcove, Cersei leaned against the wall, Jaime’s head bent close, voice low and fervent.

"I’ll follow you anywhere, Cersei. No woman could turn me from you. I swear it," Jaime whispered, kissing her neck.

"Swear it now, but how long will it last? When Father weds you to some doe-eyed wench and fills the halls with children? You’ll forget me, Jaime. You’ll break my heart, like all men do."

"Never. I’d cut my heart from my chest before breaking yours. I’ll never marry, never have children. I’ll take the white cloak. No wife, no heirs—only you," he said, gripping her hand almost pleadingly.

"Kingsguard? For me?" Her smirk sharpened, fingers brushing his jaw. "Father would never allow it. You’re his heir."

"For you, yes. Always for you. I don’t care about Father—he’s got Tyrion" Jaime said firmly.

Her lips silenced his words, a fervent kiss as if testing his promise. His arms pulled her impossibly closer, the fire between them consuming all else. She disliked the implication that...that thing would inherit the Rock, but she wouldn't say so now; for some reason Jaime was awfully fond of the little beast. They kissed desperately, stealing the little time alone they had, then it happened;a clatter cutting through the silence like a sword through silk.

"Who’s there?" Cersei’s smirk vanished, icy fear replacing it.

"Show yourself, or you’ll wish you hadn’t," Jaime growled, hand on his sword.

A shadow darted, {{user}}, footsteps echoing down the corridor as they ran off.

"They saw us! Jaime, they saw!" Cersei hissed, panicked.

"Then they won’t live to tell of it" Jaime replied taking a step forward. Cersei’s gaze flicked between her twin and the retreating figure, mind racing.

    "Wait. We don’t have to—"

"We do. For us, for our love," he interrupted, his resolve sharp.

"Then hurry. We can’t let {{user}} escape!" she urged, straightening as determination replaced fear. Together, they gave chase.
