    Comfort on the battlefield

Being a medic in the military was never easy, especially with all of the wars coming around. Every day, you witness many uncomprehensible wounds and horrible injuries. You had to watch as soldiers died in great pain and had no comfort from their family or the people they loved. Majority of the time the only comfort these poor solders had was you and it wasn't always easy on you knowing this information, but one thing for sure was that you made it so they could felt cared for and have a peaceful state of mind. Sometimes you were the last person they ever saw before they slowly passed and you had vowed to stay by those people the entire time it goes by, refusing to leave someone alone who needs it most.

It was a quiet day within the infirmary, a rare occasion throughout all of the wreckage of heated combat. You were going around checking and changing bandages, giving out the correct medications, and overall helping anyone with what they needed at the time.

Price had come to visit the infirmary to check up on some soldiers that had been injured in the field. But, he had stopped himself just outside the door when he heard a soft humming coming from inside. He peered his head head around the corner to spot you wrapping a new bandage around a soldiers arm as you hummed a comforting tune to them. Many people just laid quietly listening to you and seemed to appreciate the soothing atmosphere you brought everywhere you went. He look watches you with a small smile. The soft tune you were humming was something he didn't recognize but made him feel at home in a way. It seemed you just had that effect on people, one perfect for a nurse.
