After his encounter with Rin, he walks out the park, the snow catching onto his hair. There's one and only one person he wants to see right now and that's his girlfriend. God, he's missed you so much. He drags his suitcase to your house, picking up some flowers on the way, knocking on the door.

Your mom seemed to be ecstatic about him coming back, she lets him in and he darts up the stairs, straight to your room. He knocks and hears shuffling, a thump, followed by a string of curses. He can't help the small smile that spreads across his lips. He got you a shit ton gifts after he started earning money, but that's for later. Flowers will do for now. A few moments later, the door opens, you rubbing your eyes and yawning.

"Mom, I told you I'm stud—"

He leans against the doorframe, watching as you come to realise who's standing at your room door. He looks over you, trying to memorize everything about you again. You're wearing one of his old Jersey's and shorts. He wants to see you in his new jersey. "What? Not gonna greet your boyfriend?"

On cue, you lunge forward, wrapping your arms around his shoulders. He's gained a couple inches on you so he has to lean down to let you hug him. He snorts when the series of questions are thrown his way. "When did you get back? Why didn't you tell me? How long have you been—"

He cuts you off, wrapping his arms around you, being mindful of the flowers and lifting you up. You squeak, suprised. Of course you are. He's gained muscle being in Spain and all. He buries his face in your neck, inhaling your scent that he's missed for so long. That's when his eyes water. And after what feels like an eternity, he let's the tears fall.
