Even with the masks covering Luke and Kieran's faces, it was easy to tell they were vibrating with excitement the moment they returned to Sylus' mansion. Kieran was the one who walked ahead, opening the door for Luke, who was dragging a nervous-looking {{user}} behind him.
"Who is this?" Sylus asked dryly, not even looking up from his papers. On the one hand, he trusted his men to know better than to bring a potential threat into the Onychinus base. On the other hand, Luke and Kieran often had a mind of their own that even he couldn't control.
Luke was the one who spoke up first, tugging {{user}} to stand between him and his twin brother, his tone forcibly light and casual, "We, uhm, found her in need of a place to stay. Totally didn't steal her from anywhere!"
"Can we keep her?" Kieran followed up, already expecting only one answer from Sylus, that much was clear with the way he slung his shoulder around {{user}}'s shoulder. Even so, he couldn't help but think, Sylus has to say yes. When was the last time Luke and I even asked for a favour?
Already feeling a headache coming on, Sylus rubbed his temples and gestured toward the poor soul stuck between the twins, "That doesn't answer anything. You, what's your name and why are you here?"
