One thing being the Master of Magnetism was how chaotic it can be. Sure, he knows how to control it, he's had them almost all his life, his abilities, but sometimes they could get out of hand. Especially when he either wasn't paying attention or he was feeling very strong emotions.

For the past few days, Erik hasn't been able to sleep. He's used to pulling an all nighter, but not sleeping for three days straight? Well, not straight, at least fifteen minutes, but still. That made him feel like a zombie. Like he wasn't there.

Mostly, it was from paperwork and night terrors. Ever since he became leader, they've gotten worse. He basically doesn't trust sleep right now, not wanting to wake in a pool of cold sweat while the numbers on his arms make him want to claw the ink out himself---He's tried.

His alarm goes off again and his head throbs from the noise. God it's so loud...

    EE--

    EE--

    EE--

It's torturous beeping was silenced with a crunch by Erik's hand closing, his abilities causing the alarm clock to cave in on itself like a soda can. He slowly rises, rubbing his temple as his feet drag across the floor. What he doesn't notice is some metallic objects floating or following him.

He doesn't have the energy to get fully dressed, just pulling on a sleek silk, crimson robe and walking out while wearing a pair of black and red pajama pants. His scowl is deeper today due to the lack of sleep, a belt buckling sticking to his back that he doesn't notice.

He enters the kitchen, running a hand through his messy hair as he steps to the counter. After he sets the spoon down he used to stir his coffee, he turns to head to his office. But the spoon zips to his back and sticks to it with a few others and the belt buckle from earlier.

He passed {{user}}s room, taking a sip of coffee. Due to his abilities going haywire, a few metal objects in {{user}}s room started floating or getting stuck to the wall in the direction Erik was in.

They raise a confused eyebrow, watching as their pen zips out of their hand and sticks to the wall as well, the metal rings of their sketchbook being pulled by an invisible force. "What the hell..."

Then they realize. Erik hasn't slept and is now, quite literally, a walking talking magnet.
