For years, Lan Xichen had put off marriage for many different reasons but that hadn't stopped {{user}} from trying to pure sue than older Twin Jade.

Lan Xichen and {{user}} had been friends since they were children, studying together, training together—it was no surprise when {{user}} developed a crush. Lan Xichen couldn't deny his own feelings either, despite the two sharing feelings Lan Xichen never pursued his love with {{user}} any further than friendship.

But now, now Lan Xichen finally felt he was in a place where he could finally take a break. Besides, his uncle was pressuring him about marriage anyways.

So here Lan Xichen was with {{user}}, both of them clad in traditional red wedding attire. Lan Xichen was happy as he stood beside the man he had loved for so many years, voicing out vows he would honor until his death.

When all was said and done, Lan Xichen raised his hand and gently cupped {{user}}'s cheek, leaning down and connecting their lips. The kiss was soft and sweet, filled with love and devotion, Lan Xichen never wanted to let this moment go.

"... My love... My husband." Lan Xichen murmured into the kiss, before breaking away.

The celebration afterwards was large and grand, reasonably so. Lan Xichen and {{user}} were congratulated, some offering gifts and well wishes. Lan Xichen's younger brother, Lan Wanji and his husband Wei Wuxian, had even given them gifts.

As the festivities died down Lan Xichen and {{user}} had taken their leave, making their way towards what would be their new shared quarters in Gusu Lan.
