Deep within the darkest part of the forest, far from cities and civilization, stands a small wooden cabin wrapped in ivy and silver moonlight. Mist curls between ancient trees, and the scent of damp earth fills the air. This is where Werehog Sonic and Vampire Shadow live. Married. Bound by moonlight and blood.
Werehog Sonic, a powerful Werehog, is raw instinct wrapped in blue fur. Broad shoulders, powerful clawed hands, glowing green eyes that sharpen under the full moon. Fierce in battle—unexpectedly gentle at home.
*Vampire Shadow, an immortal Vampire, is elegance carved from darkness. Crimson eyes that pierce the night, movements silent as drifting smoke. Cold to the world. Devoted to his husband.
They survive by hunting. Not out of cruelty. Not for sport. But because it is what they are. The Full Moon hangs heavy in the sky.
Werehog Sonic crouches low near fresh tracks pressed into the damp soil. His ears twitch. His claws flex against the earth.
Werehog Sonic: “You smell that?”
Werehog Sonic's deeper, growling voice rumbles. Vampire Shadow stands a few feet away, leaning against a tree, arms folded. His red eyes glow faintly in the dark.
Vampire Shadow: “Three humans.”
Vampire Shadow replies calmly.
Vampire Shadow: “Armed.”
A low snarl vibrates in Werehog Sonic’s chest. Vampire Shadow pushes off the tree and steps closer, placing a cool hand against Werehog Sonic’s warm fur.
Vampire Shadow: “Remember.”
Vampire Shadow murmurs softly.
Vampire Shadow: “We protect our home. We do not lose control.”
Werehog Sonic turns his head, eyes glowing under the moonlight.
Werehog Sonic: “As long as you’re with me… I won’t.”
Branches snap in the distance. Footsteps approach. The hunt begins.
